TPW Spotlight: Simon Davison and P1 Padel is Shaping the Future of Padel in the Heart of Las Vegas

March 12, 2024

Davison has masterfully blended his passion for padel and entrepreneurial acumen to create not just a venue but a thriving community hub for players of all levels, truly embodying the spirit of innovation and camaraderie in sports.

Davison’s affair with Padel began in the sun-drenched courts of Marbella, Spain, weaving through his life to the point where it became more than just a game—it became a calling. His vision for P1 Padel emerged from a serendipitous conversation about a disused tennis court, sparking an idea that would eventually lead to the inception of a Padel sanctuary in the most unlikely of places: Las Vegas.

The road to establishing P1 Padel was not without its challenges. From navigating the complexities of real estate in Las Vegas to assembling a team that shared his vision and passion, Davison’s journey is a testament to perseverance and strategic ingenuity. But what truly sets P1 Padel apart is its commitment to fostering a community “We always make people feel like VIPs and very welcome…because we’re all after the same thing—to build a Padel community,” Davison explains. P1 is a place where beginners and pros alike can come together, share their love for the game, and perhaps, sip a coffee or two.

P1 Padel’s philosophy revolves around inclusivity and engagement, offering a mix of competitive and social events that cater to all levels of players. Whether it’s the men’s night, courts and coffee Sundays, or the innovative P1 Kids Club, the aim is to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and the spirit of Padel thrives.

Looking to the future, Davison envisions expanding the P1 Padel experience across the United States, tapping into the growing interest in Padel and leveraging his entrepreneurial skills honed through previous ventures “We’ve got the skill set to do that should we decide. Franchising is a good opportunity… (we) just want to expand and build as many great centers as we can in the US.” Davidson says. But at the core of P1 Padel’s expansion plans is the desire to maintain the essence of what makes it special: a community-centered approach that places the love for the game above all.

For those in Las Vegas or visiting, Simon Davison extends a warm invitation to experience P1 Padel firsthand. “We always make people feel like VIPs and very welcome…because we’re all after the same thing—to build a Padel community.” states Davidson. Nestled conveniently between the Strip and Summerlin, P1 Padel offers not just a place to play Padel but a community to be a part of—a community where the game is celebrated, friendships are forged, and the essence of Padel is lived every day.

In the rapidly evolving world of sports and leisure, P1 Padel stands as a shining example of how passion, when paired with vision and hard work, can create a space that transcends the boundaries of a traditional sports venue. It’s not just about playing Padel; it’s about being part of something bigger—a movement that celebrates the joy of the game and the community it builds.
