As the weekend’s climax approached, the tournament attracted over 8,500 spectators on Saturday alone, with more than 5,000 fans filling the stands for Sunday’s finals. This unprecedented turnout highlighted the growing popularity of padel and the success of the Qatari-backed Premier Padel tour’s first stop in the province.

Additionally, fans witnessed the farewell of the popular pairing of Álex Ruiz and Momo González.

Sunday’s finals did not disappoint, delivering high drama and exceptional padel. In the women’s final, Ari Sánchez and Paula Josemaría staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Gemma Triay and Claudia Fernández. After losing the first set 1-6, Sánchez and Josemaría rallied to win 6-4, 6-2, securing their fifth title of the year and their 32nd as a pair.

On the men’s side, Agus Tapia and Arturo Coello showcased their dominance, defeating Federico Chingotto and Alejandro Galán with a commanding 6-2, 6-3 victory. This win marked their sixth title of the year, further cementing their status as one of the top pairs in the sport.
