The CUPRA FIP Tour 2025 is set to make waves across Asia as Reap, a global financial technology provider, has been named the Title Sponsor of all Asia Padel Events (APE) tournaments. This landmark partnership not only strengthens professional padel’s expansion in the region but also reinforces the sport’s growing international presence.
A Major Step for Padel in Asia
As part of the International Padel Federation (FIP) ecosystem, the CUPRA FIP Tour serves as a gateway for professional players looking to climb the global rankings and qualify for Premier Padel events. In 2025, the tour will introduce a series of tournaments across Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and beyond, creating more opportunities for top-tier talent and regional players alike.
The collaboration with Reap aims to:
- Expand padel’s footprint into new markets across Asia
- Attract elite international players while providing crucial opportunities for local talent
- Enhance tournament visibility with world-class digital engagement, live streaming, and media coverage
“With Reap as our Title Sponsor, we’re elevating padel in Asia like never before,” said Alenna Dawn, Founder of Asia Padel Events. “Their support allows us to bring more CUPRA FIP tournaments to the region, ensuring that players have greater international exposure and opportunities.”
2025 Tour Calendar: Asia’s Biggest Year Yet
The CUPRA FIP Tour 2025, promoted by APE, will feature a minimum of 10 international tournaments. Among the highlights:
- Hong Kong will host its first-ever FIP Bronze event from March 12-16, marking a milestone for the city’s padel scene
- Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur will welcome its first FIP Bronze tournament from April 16-20, strengthening its commitment to professional padel
- Singapore will make its debut on the CUPRA FIP Tour, positioning itself as a new hub for padel in Asia
Additionally, Asia Padel Events will run Challenger Tournaments alongside the CUPRA FIP Tour, giving amateur and aspiring pro players a chance to compete, gain ranking points, and experience high-level international competition.
A Shared Vision for Growth
For Reap, this partnership represents more than just sponsorship—it’s a commitment to fostering global connectivity and accessibility.
“Padel is the fastest-growing sport in the world, and APE is at the forefront of bringing it to new markets,” said Kevin Kang, Co-Founder of Reap. “Just like padel thrives on speed, strategy, and teamwork, our financial solutions help businesses expand and connect across borders. We are proud to support APE in making padel more accessible to players across Asia.”
Building the Future of Padel in Asia
With Reap’s backing, Asia Padel Events is set to professionalize and expand padel’s presence in the region. This includes working closely with FIP national federations, clubs, and key stakeholders to ensure a sustainable and competitive ecosystem for players and fans alike.
By increasing global exposure, nurturing young talent, and solidifying Asia as a premier destination for padel, this partnership is poised to leave a lasting impact on the sport’s future development.
