Padel for Brain Cancer Miami is back for its second year at Reserve Padel, combining fast-paced matches with a mission to support glioblastoma research. Hosted by the Glioblastoma Research Organization (GBMRO) and spearheaded by its founder, Amber Barbach, the event promises a day of high-energy competition, community connection, and impactful fundraising.
“We are excited to bring back this high-energy fundraising event to Miami,” said Barbach, a Forbes 30 Under 30 social impact honoree. “Padel for brain cancer is not just about having fun–it’s about making a real impact in the fight against glioblastoma. We’re committed to raising awareness and funds to support groundbreaking research and advancements in the field.”
Raising the Bar for a Vital Cause
Last year’s inaugural event raised an impressive $45,000 for glioblastoma research, and this year’s goal aims to exceed that milestone. With 30 teams competing across men’s and women’s divisions, the event is set to amplify its impact in 2025.
A Day of Matches, Community, and Wellness
The event kicks off at 1 p.m., with matches starting at 2 p.m. Spectators and participants can enjoy curated food, refreshing drinks, and activations from over 15 sponsors, including Pura Vida Miami, Koia Shakes, Drip Hydration, Bask Suncare, Forte Dei Marmi, and The KOV Miami.
Tickets start at $75 for spectators and $400 for teams of two, with all proceeds directly supporting GBMRO’s mission to advance glioblastoma research. Exclusive prize boxes, including TWOTWO padel rackets, wellness services, and leading self-care items, await the event’s winners.
