Founded by Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) in collaboration with the International Padel Federation (FIP) and the Professional Padel Association (PPA), Premier Padel has quickly established itself as a major player in the padel world.
A High-Stakes P1 Event
The competition in Malaga is classified as a P1 event, which means it will offer more points than the recent P2 event held in Seville. The Seville event saw an impressive turnout of 35,000 fans at the Cartuja stadium, setting high expectations for the upcoming tournament in Malaga.
Local Stars and International Talent
The Premier Padel tournament will feature several local talents, adding to the excitement for the home crowd. Bea González, currently ranked fourth globally, will compete with her partner Delfi Brea. The duo has been on an impressive winning streak, clinching four consecutive titles this year.
Malaga’s own Álex Ruiz and Momo González, ranked seventh, are also set to participate. Local stars Jairo Bautista, Fran Guerrero, Marta Caparrós, and Carolina Navarro, pending her recovery from an ankle injury, will join them in the competition.
