Louisville Joins the Padel Craze with New State-of-the-Art Courts at pATL

June 4, 2024

Padel has officially arrived in Louisville. According to Andrew Herring, co-founder of pATL, padel is the second most popular sport in Spain, just behind soccer. “It’s the fastest growing sport in the world, the reason pickleball can’t get into Europe,” says Herring.

Recently, three new padel-only courts were completed at Goodbounce Pickleball, making them the only ones within 250 miles. Herring predicts rapid expansion: “The estimate is, this year alone, they are going to add 40 more padel-only clubs in the entire U.S., with that number likely to double next year.”

pATL and Goodbounce also offer clinics for those eager to learn the game of Padel in Louisville.
