This landmark event marks a significant step for the recognition and growth of padel in Romania and the broader Balkan region. The tournament will feature a prize pool of €20,000 and is expected to attract players aiming to climb the FIP rankings and compete in higher-level tournaments.

Padel Center, the host venue, is the first club in western Romania to boast courts approved by the official FIP provider. According to Lucian Perescu, a representative of Padel Center, hosting this tournament is a historic moment, integrating Romania into the elite international padel circuit.

The tournament will see qualifying matches begin on May 26, with the main draw commencing on May 30. Fans can look forward to seeing Portuguese star Miguel Oliveira among the participants.
