Mark your calendars for the ultimate weekend of the year, from December 1 to 3, when players of all skill levels will have the chance to participate in this groundbreaking tournament. Picture this: five custom-designed padel courts at The Sevens Stadium, where the action unfolds.
But wait, there’s more! The Rebound tournament offers a diverse array of categories for players to choose from, ensuring there’s a spot for everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-time player, there’s a category that suits your style. The options include Team Open Competitive (C), Team Open Social (D), Men’s Open Competitive (C), Men’s Open Social (D), Women’s Competitive (C+), Women’s Challenger (C-), Women’s Open Social (D), and a special Parent & Kids Social category for children aged eight to 14 years.
This tournament isn’t just about the pros; it’s about giving everyone a chance to showcase their skills and have a blast doing it. Each team will dive into a minimum of three games during the group stage, with game formats varying by category, ensuring an exhilarating experience for players of all ages. For most categories, you can expect six games per set in the group stage and nine in the knockout stages. The parent and kids categories will feature four games per set in the group stage and six in the knockout stages.
The tournament kicks off on a thrilling note with the parent and kid categories, along with the initial group stages to determine the finalists for the knockout stages. But here’s where it gets even more exciting—the team category! It consists of four players, including 2 females and 2 males, taking on opponents in mixed and same-gender matches during the group stages. The top-performing teams will advance to the final rounds.
