The 2025 Hexagon Cup lineup just got more exciting with the announcement that Pierre Gasly, renowned Formula 1 driver, and Loïc Féry, successful entrepreneur and FC Lorient president, are the new owners of the 10Padel team. Their involvement marks the entry of the tournament’s eighth and final team, setting the stage for an exhilarating second edition of the Hexagon Cup from January 29 to February 2, 2025, at the Madrid Arena.

Pierre Gasly, known for his success on the Formula 1 circuit with a victory at Monza’s 2020 Italian Grand Prix, is bringing his passion for padel into the Hexagon Cup. “I’m thrilled to take this first step into the padel world by creating our professional team, 10Padel,” said Gasly. “Padel shares the same competitive spirit that drives me on the F1 circuits. Together with Loïc, we aim to build a team that stands out both on and off the court.”

Loïc Féry, the founder of Chenavari Investment Managers and a committed tennis and padel player, expressed his excitement about joining the Hexagon Cup: “Pierre and I played padel together after the Miami Grand Prix, and since then, we’ve nurtured the desire to partner in the padel world. I’m excited to join this inspiring competition, and we look forward to combining our experience and passion to ensure 10Padel’s success.”

Gasly and Féry join a prestigious group of Hexagon Cup team owners, including Leo Messi and Sergio Agüero (Krü Padel by Taktika), Eva Longoria, Andy Murray, Rafa Nadal, and Robert Lewandowski. With each team helmed by global superstars, the 2025 edition of the Hexagon Cup promises to deliver more excitement, expanding its team count from six to eight compared to its inaugural event earlier this year.

The Hexagon Cup’s innovative team format—featuring men’s, women’s, and Next Gen categories—has captivated the padel world, showcasing the sport’s best talent alongside celebrity-led teams. Enrique Buenaventura, founder of the Hexagon Cup, emphasized the importance of the new team: “Incorporating Pierre and Loïc opens up exciting opportunities. Their involvement, especially from the automotive and football industries, aligns with our goal of bringing padel to new audiences and territories, particularly in France, where the sport is gaining momentum.”

Sergio Lewin, the tournament’s Operations and Sporting Managing Director shared his excitement: “The entry of an eighth team allows us to bring in even more top players and two rising stars, ensuring a historic competition. Having Gasly and Féry on board adds prestige to our event, and I cannot wait for January 29th to kick off what promises to be a thrilling edition.”

The 2025 Hexagon Cup promises to be an unforgettable event. Under the motto “For the Fans. For the Players. For the Game, ” the tournament will offer a unique blend of sport and entertainment. Matches are scheduled to take place at the Madrid Arena, and fierce competition will be featured among star-studded teams.

Following the success of the inaugural edition in January 2024, the 2025 Hexagon Cup will elevate the sport to new heights, with Gasly and Féry’s 10Padel team aiming to make an impact. This high-profile addition cements the tournament’s status as the premier professional team event in the padel world.

With celebrity owners, world-class athletes, and a focus on community engagement, the Hexagon Cup is revolutionizing the sport of padel—and January 2025 can’t come soon enough.
