The highly anticipated final of the Euro Padel League (EPL) 2024 season is set to take place from July 4th to 7th at London’s premier padel venue, Rocks Lane Padel Centre in Chiswick. Known as the “bastion of padel” in London, Rocks Lane will host this exciting event featuring top veteran amateur players from across Europe.
A Milestone for Padel in Europe
The inaugural season of the EPL has proven to be a resounding success, drawing significant attention and participation from the European padel community. Chris Warren, founder of Rocks Lane Padel and the EPL, expressed his excitement for the upcoming final. “At this stage in padel’s global development, the focus is on its appeal at the recreational level. We believe the EPL will become the ‘Champions League of Padel’ across Europe,” Warren stated.
Euro Padel League Event Highlights
The EPL London 2024 event kicks off on July 4th with the EPL Sprint Pro AM competition, featuring a mix of professional and elite British players alongside top amateurs and celebrities, including former GB Rugby 7s Olympian Heather Fisher and English Rugby Union player Alex Davis. This will be followed by opportunities for amateur players and juniors to learn from ex-professional players, such as ex-World Padel Tour player Álex Grilo, in the EPL Academy.
On July 5th, the spotlight will shift to the EPL Corporate Cup and main event matches, showcasing top-tier padel action from Europe’s best Over 45 amateur players. The event will culminate in a grand finale on July 7th, where the champions of the EPL Cup’s pilot season will be crowned.
