The United States Padel Association (USPA) is on the lookout for dedicated individuals ready to join Team USA as assistant coaches for the upcoming 2024 Senior World Championships in Alicante, Spain. This is a call to arms for those who have a deep love for Padel and are eager to contribute to the national team’s success on the international stage from April 15-20, 2024.
As part of the coaching team, you’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing a united and competitive Team USA. Your responsibilities will extend beyond the court; from organizing practices to ensuring the team’s needs are met during meals and meetings, your goal will be to cultivate a supportive and cohesive environment. Importantly, your insights and strategies will be crucial during match play, providing the guidance our athletes need to excel.
This unique opportunity will see you working closely with esteemed coaches Angel Espadas and Nicolas Clerc, learning from their extensive experience while contributing your own expertise. While the position does not offer additional compensation, the USPA will cover all reasonable travel, meal, and lodging expenses, ensuring you can focus wholly on the team’s preparation and performance.
Candidates must be available to travel with the team from April 14-20, 2024, and are encouraged to apply by the deadline on Monday, February 26, 2024. The selection process may include an interview, allowing candidates to further showcase their coaching philosophy and commitment to the development of Team USA.
