Brain Cancer Awareness Event at Reserve Padel NYC via GBMRO

May 9, 2024

Reserve Padel and the Glioblastoma Research Organization (GBMRO) are teaming up to host the impactful “Padel for Brain Cancer” event. Scheduled for May 11, 2024, this significant gathering will take place at Reserve’s premier facility in Hudson Yards, Midtown Manhattan, kicking off Brain Tumor Awareness Month with a bracket tournament from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event will showcase 32 teams competing in two brackets, with the winners receiving a complimentary scan from Prenuvo and premium Padel accessories courtesy of TWOTWO Padel. The tournament concludes with a sunset cocktail hour, sponsored by Hampton Water Wine Co., blending spirited competition with community camaraderie.

Amber Barbach, founder and director of GBMRO, expressed enthusiasm for the event’s move to New York City after a successful debut in Miami, which raised over $45,000 for brain cancer research. “We’re thrilled to bring our Padel for Brain Cancer event to New York City,” said Barbach. “With the support of our partners at Reserve, we’re mobilizing the wellness community to advocate for much-needed research funding.”

Participants and attendees will enjoy refreshments, tasty bites, and the opportunity to win exciting raffle prizes. Event sponsors including Drip Hydration, EAROS, and many others will feature brand activations. A gluten-free lunch by twentyonegrains will be provided to keep players and spectators fueled. The event aims not only to entertain but also to drive critical funding for GBMRO’s mission to advance research and find a cure for glioblastoma.

By joining this tournament, participants will help elevate awareness and fund groundbreaking research to combat one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. For more information and to support this vital cause, visit GBMRO’s website.
